Purple spotlights and the joyful noise of excited beauty professionals told us we’d found the right place. Right between Fifth Street and Park Avenue, we witness one of the best hair product launches of the season. CosmoBiz was invited to preview Schwarzkopf’s newest products and collections launching this new year in the United States. If you’re not familiar with the brand, Schwarzkopf is a German hair care brand with numerous well-known products under their umbrella: Göt2B for men and women, Keratin Color, color ULTÎME, GLISS, and Smooth ‘N Shine.
When arriving at the location, the purple lights gave a dazzling hint of how amazing of an event it was going to be. Walking inside confirmed our premonition; only the chicest layout was possible for the House of Schwarzkopf. The House of Schwarzkopf offered interactive rooms for each collection with a Schwarzkopf professional to assist with product knowledge and extra goodies to make the rooms so hard to exit to the next.
And, of course, we didn’t experience it alone. We took our event experience to the next level bringing one of our favorite hair bloggers and CosmoBiz Beauty Examiners, SimplyJade101! We saw first-hand what our bloggers thought about the new line and she experienced the new products right beside us.
Downstairs, the first room featured their color ULTÎME collection with their newest colors. Schwarzkopf teamed up with famed celebrity photographer Russell James, who was also in attendance, to display their new collection inspired by the runway. To top it off, they had the dopest photo booth. The room, inspired by the collection, made us feel like we were walking the catwalk.
Göt2B was next, highlighting their newest men’s products inspired by men’s second home: the barbershop. They showcased products like a spiking gel while attendees customized their own Herschel grooming kits. Upstairs, the experience was even better with the women’s Göt2B room highlighting their first-ever color collection, with metallic and ombré colors for hair dying and styling products (we’re so excited to test this coloring out!). Meanwhile, Paintbox manicures and the customized braid bar kept all the bloggers in this room happily busy.
GlISS and Keratin Color rooms showed Schwarzkopf’s top products bringing the salon revolution to your favorite retail location. These two collections, in our opinion, will definitely shake up the hair world, gaining love and respect in every state. Lastly, we ended in the Smooth ‘N Shine room highlighting the Smooth ‘N Shine Straight & Curly Collections. Celebrity stylist Larry Sims and a DIY essential oil bar was the ultimate finish for an amazing event to end the year. Schwarzkopf is on their way to dominating the market one chemical product at a time. With events like this, mixing bloggers and the beauty world and the product quality, they are on their way to competing with top beauty brands for first place.
