Celebrating its 75th year with just as dated values, the Golden Globes came under fire for its lack of gender and racial diversity in nominees. Following a year of calls to action, the lineups for many of the award categories fell short of what most of us hoped or expected. That said, there were still many exciting winners. Oprah Winfrey was stunning, as usual, with her thoughtful speech after accepting the Cecil B DeMille award.
Social issues aside, the Golden Globes are always a treasure trove of style, and this year was no different. Although most opted for simple and chic black dresses, there was plenty of style love to go around. We particularly loved Yvonne Orji’s elegant and understated look.
